Living Through History

I was fifteen on September 11, 2001. I was in high school and thinking about my sweet sixteen which was only months away. And I lived through one of the most important moments of history. I remember my history teacher telling us to put our books away and turning on the television. He said that he wasn’t going to teach us anything that day because we were witnessing history happening.

Now, when my own son is fifteen, we are going through another event that is going to change our world forever. The coronavirus has already changed how we are living our lives. In light of this, I want to dedicate this blog to recording how our lives are changing and will continue to change going forward.

I want to invite everyone to submit posts to be added to my blog about your experiences and your thoughts. I want these posts to be positive and not political in nature. I am also eager to see your pictures! There have been some amazing ones taken so far! What we are going through is unprecedented and everyone in the government is adapting as we go. I can’t wait to hear from you and stay safe!

  1. On 9.11 I was 13 years old and I remember like it was yesterday. In Europe is the current situation pretty serious. I live near the border with Italy and I get bad news every hour. In my opinion, the situation is more serious than it looks on the first look.
